About this Event

This foundation celebrates and elevates Muslim female artists accross the globe!!

There is something for everyone: Welcome speeches, performance, cake cutting, celebration of multi art forms, Tilavat, and singing by Hawo Ahmed Hilowle , famous Somali singer, videos of artwork and more!

Tilavat - a recitation from the holy Quran by: Mahmuda Afolabi.

Welcome by: Qaisra Shahraz MBE and Ed Watts, Head of Learning and Engagement, the Whitworth Art Gallery.

Launched by: Sir Warren Smith KCVO KStJ JP, Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Greater Manchester.

Hosted by: Abdullah Afzal, actor and comedian.
