Muslim Meetup Potluck Picnic in Riverside Park, Harlem NY (09/20/25)

Looking for a place to chill with other Muslims? Well look no further.

Come join us on Saturday, September 20th for a picnic in Riverside Park. We will meet at the Riverside Park in Harlem, NY (West 145th Street).

To find where we will meet, just look for the Sofrito's restaurant in RIverside Park on your GPS. That should be close to where we are going to be doing the picnic (just keep walking on W 145th Street into the main park and we will be there). If you're having trouble, be sure to post here, and we will help.

We will bring some food and essentials. You can bring water, soda, snacks, bug spray, more blankets, or dishes of food, if you're looking to pitch in (since this is a potluck).

Also, if you just want to attend and not bring anything that's completely fine. Don't feel obligated to do so.

All Muslims (and open minded non-Muslims) are welcome, along with as many guests as they would like to bring. The event starts at 2:30 and goes on until whenever.

Also, be sure to be courteous to other members attending, which should go without saying (we do not take responsibility for the health and well-being for anyone who attends our events).

We're not charging for this event, but will be going around asking for any donation you can make to a local food bank, so if you'd like to drop a few dollars in the bucket, it would be appreciated.
