Get down to Black Rabbit for this month's edition of Musician Spotlight!Breck Lee Durham is from "somewhere else" and walks the tightrope between "a poet's heart and cynic’s eye." Story goes he saw Elvis on TV at two years old and hasn't been right since. Outlaw and Honky Tonk country came out of the 8 track as a kid and his 3 older sisters kept a steady stream of 'classic' rock filling his head and cable TV introduced him to The Red Hot Chili Peppers, X, Concrete Blonde, and The Blasters, among many others. Breck started playing his originals in public and cutting his teeth at open mics around Phoenix, Tempe, Chandler AZ in the late ‘90s. He kept writing, playing and jamming where and when he could. In 2010 he started self-releasing some collections of songs about some of the characters and craziness he's come across in his travels, the latest being the digital single The Kind You Like/Last Of You. He has resided in Reno, Nevada since 2017, preachin' pagan propaganda and doing his thang. Website: https://breckleemusic.com/
