Musical Playdate | Halloween
About this Event
Join us for our Halloween Monthly Playdate in South Tulsa! This not-too-spooky music class for babies, toddlers, and preschoolers (0-4 years) helps little ones grow language, coordination, and confidence alongside the grown-ups who love them.
Playdates blend joyful play with purposeful learning. Built on the Kindermusik program and Music Learning Theory, each experience nurtures your child’s natural musical development:
- Singing songs, rhymes, and fingerplays that build early language, memory, and listening skills
- Moving to music (bouncing, swaying, marching, and dancing) to develop coordination and a feel for steady beat
- Playing child-sized instruments like drums, shakers, bells, and xylophones, which build fine motor skills and curiosity
- Exploring musical opposites like loud and soft, fast and slow, high and low, which lay the groundwork for focus and early learning
- Making music alongside other little ones in a warm, small group that builds social confidence
- Sharing lap songs and lullabies that strengthen your bond and give you simple musical ideas to bring into everyday routines
Good to know:
- 45 minutes, held at 7181 S Braden Ave, Tulsa
- Wear comfy clothes (or a costume!) and socks; we’ll be moving and sitting on the floor
- Each ticket admits one child (0–4) plus one parent or caregiver. A grown-up stays and participates with each child.
Musical Playdates are led by Dr. Farida Peña, an early childhood music specialist who is Kindermusik-certified and trained in Music Learning Theory.
