Leanna Yatcilla is a vibrant and creative force, freshly graduated from Ithaca College in 2024 with a BFA in Art and a minor in Theatre. Her artwork bursts with color and emotion, often drawing inspiration from her own nostalgic experiences. With a passion for working with acrylic and gouache, Leanna seamlessly blends two-dimensional paintings into playful three-dimensional creations. A keen interest in prop making informs her distinctive style, as she believes specific objects carry significant narratives and enhance the storytelling aspect of her work. Given her love of theatre and performance, her art invites viewers to explore a whimsical world where memories and meaningful objects come to life, each piece a gateway into her imaginative realm.
