Musical Awakening: Music as a Universal Language | Ages 5–6

Music is one of the first languages children understand — even before they can explain everything with words.
We invite children aged 5–6 to a soft, playful and inclusive musical workshop where they can explore rhythm, sound, movement, gesture and simple musical instruments in a safe and joyful environment.
Through songs, rhythm games, body percussion, movement, listening activities and creative play, children will discover music as a universal way to communicate, express emotions, develop attention, coordinate movement and connect with others.
This workshop is especially suitable for multilingual children and can also be helpful for children who may be shy or need a gentle non-verbal way to express themselves.
The workshop is led by Rihab Zouari, Early Childhood Educator specialised in Musical Awakening and Art Mediation, with extensive experience in early childhood settings and more than 400 musical awakening sessions delivered in 2025.

The workshop is organised by Multicultural Center Brusinka in collaboration with Rihab Zouari, within Musical Bridges of Europe, a project supported by Delia Arts Foundation.
