Music That Tells a Story – Providence opens our fifty-sixth season with a joyful side-by-side concert at Providence’s Mount Pleasant High School, featuring students from MPHS’s Music CTE Academy. This family-friendly event includes multimedia performances with synchronized video, live Spanish translation, an interactive pre-concert session with the conductor, and a madcap musical retelling of Dr. Seuss’s classic tale of prejudice and persistence, Green Eggs and Ham. Families can also enjoy free prize giveaways — including books, Amazon gift cards, and Kindle e-readers — and stay for a post-concert meal where musicians and guests mingle and connect.
