About this Event

Learn how to take your performance to the professional stage. If you are interested in being a professional singer this Summer intensive is for you. All ages, styles, and abilities are welcome!

Learn what it takes to be a professional singer, improve your vocals, and at the end of the week you will get to perform in front of LIVE audience!


Class runs Monday, August 8 through Friday, August 12, 10 am to 12 pm daily, with a showcase performance Friday night at 8 pm


What to expect:

You will need to come prepared with 2 memorized songs of your choice. It will be set up masterclass style, meaning each performer gets a chance to sing in front of the class to help prepare for performing on stage. Each performer will also get one-on-one personalized feedback on how they can improve.

Learn how to pick songs that are right for your voice to help you get your best sound! Personalized vocal tips and techniques that help improve your singing, strengthen your voice, and help keep your voice healthy and strong.

You will also get performance experience and tips how to engage your audience, get your name out there, and build your professional career. Learn how to set up an online presence, create a resume, PR package and more. Everything you will need to know as a beginner, all the way up to the emerging professional.

Performing at the end of the week is optional, if you just want to come learn and grow you will not be disappointed! If you choose the class option only ( not performing at the end ) you do not need to have memorized songs and can use lyrics.


Groups, duets, trios are welcome!! Discounts available for groups, and families.

About Rebecca Pearce

Rebecca Pearce, of Rebecca Pearce & Friends and Whiskey Tango Band has also
performed as lead singer for The BTown Hitmen, as well as Trials and Tribulations Blues Band
where she is featured on the Idaho Ladies Sing the Blues CD by The Boise Blues Society.

Rebecca Pearce & Friends is known for Classic Country, American Songbook, Blues, Jazz, and
sold-out tribute shows such as Patsy Cline, Judy Garland, Sarah Vaughan, Nat King Cole, as well
as Vintage Halloween, Old Fashioned Christmas, Speakeasy, as well as private and corporate
events.

Rebecca Pearce is a resident company member of Opera Idaho and Opera Elect. She
toured Rome and Orvieto, Italy with Operafestival Di Roma and Nino Soprano. Rebecca has
guest soloed for Boise Hymns of Thanksgiving performed at the Century Link Arena which aired
on PBS, placed in the nation's top 20 in the 2019 National Classical Singer Vocal Competition in
Classical Division Emerging Pro and top 40 for Emerging Pro Musical Theater Division, as well
as top 40 in the 2016, 2017, and 2018 Nationals. She was 4th in region at 2016 NATSAA 44th
Annual NATS Artists Awards Competition for Singers. She is also a featured soloist in the
recording series with violinist Kevin Lee at the Romantic School of Music.

Rebecca was classically trained by the Utah Shakespearean Company where she performed
for 5 years. She has performed in theater companies throughout the western United States for
more than 20 years. Performing in musical theater such roles as; Narrator in Bad Guys of Broadway,
Dora in Fiorello, Grandma Tzeitle and Fruma-Sarah in Fiddler on the Roof, Eliza Doolittle in My Fair Lady, Christine in Phantom of the Opera, Eponine and Cosette in Les Misérables, Ursula in Little Mermaid, Annie Oakley in Annie get your gun and more. Locally she performs and works with theaters including Watson’s Playhouse, Huckleberry Star, Boise Little Theater, and Boise Music Week.

Rebecca also served as Vocal Director for Dreamweaver. She also works as an actress, voice-over artist, Casting Director, and more with film companies such as Mindwind Films, Truesong Studio, Brightland Productions, and Jormungandr Productions and more.

Rebecca has been married for 23 years and is the proud mother of four talented children.

She runs her voice and piano studio, has led church choir, children’s choir, and community music
groups for over 20 years, organizes and performs community concert series, and also served as
both MC and soloist at Impact Dance Alzheimer Benefit Concert, guest soloist and conductor at
the Boise Refugee Benefit Concert at Cathedral of the Rockies, and volunteers in schools and
communities teaching music and the arts.
