A quartet of Toronto's top vocalists performing music written by prisoners in the Terezin concentration camp.
About this Event

This original program was first presented in 2010 outside of the Hidden Synagogue of Terezin concentration camp. Now performed by four of Toronto’s leading vocal?ists, it features some of the extraordinarily beautiful vocal music composed from with?in the confines of the camp. Although the composers tragically perished, we have the glorious sounds of their music to help us celebrate their lives and honour their memory.

Kieran Kane has sung with ensembles across Canada including Toronto Mendelssohn Choir, The Elora Singers, and The Canadian Chamber Choir. Solo projects include Masetto in Don Giovanni, Bottom in A Midsummer Night’s Dream, and Messiah with Arcady Ensemble. When not performing, Kieran teaches private voice and piano lessons and has worked as music director on productions including The Gondoliers and The Drowsy Chaperone.
