**EVENT POSTPONED UNTIL LATE JAN-EARLY FEB**The first MUSIC MERCH MARKET was so fun that we thought we should make it a twice-a-year event, winter & summer. But it became apparent that all the bands are just too busy in the summer, and thats why we did the first one in the winter, so... live and learn. We are postponing the event to late Jan/Early Feb, and it will be bigger than ever.
MUSIC MERCH MARKET at WAREHOUSE is a mini fan-fair/merch mall, set up throughout both floors of live music venue the WAREHOUSE, where you can casually look over/shop for/buy band merchandise.
15-20 bands all in one location, without the pressure of a concert environment, because there is no concert--just merch!
Nobody rushing you out the door because the show is over, no buying a vinyl record and having to hold onto it the whole show. You'll get to talk with bands instead of their merch guy, and hang out in a chill environment.
The craft soda bar will be open, vintage 70s pinball will be fired up, free pool table will be available, and VPX Clothing (the clothing store from inside the Warehouse a decade ago) will have vintage 90s alt clothes available as well.
We expect some bands to rotate, so as we get closer to the event we'll try to post what bands will be involved, and on what days. If you are in a band that wants to participate, reach out as soon as possible, as we expect this to fill up well in advance. Its a great way to make some money on a weekend you are not playing, while getting your merch in front of a lot of faces. Plus its not a van and trailer situation -- you can just throw your merch in your car. A simple way to make some money and engage new/current fans.
For everyone shopping and hanging out, it is totally free admission (just don't carry in any beverages), so it should be a fun atmosphere to hang out right here on Historic Pearl Street.
