This March, we’re partnering with the Transcendent Musicians Network to explore how mentorship can shape a musician’s brand and career. Moderated by Transcendent board member and Augie faculty Emily Roehl, this session features Morgan Carnes (Humbletown musician and executive director of Transcendent network) alongside Sioux Falls-based artist Arlinda Peacock, who recently completed the network’s mentee program, and Ruth Murphy, a Vermillion-based musician just beginning her mentorship journey. They’ll share insights on the power of mentorship, the process of building an intentional music brand, and the challenges of navigating new releases as emerging artists.Here’s the breakdown of the evening:
