Salako Music is a singer-songwriter based in Dallas, Texas. Salako’s lyrics are playful and alluring while exploring elements of spirituality. Salako’s love for the arts grew while studying dance with the Beckley Center, W. E. Greiner Exploratory Arts Academy and the legendary Booker T. Washington High School for the Performing and Visual Arts. However due to injuries she began to pursue her singing career. Her creativity expands from motherhood as a creator of two to being featured as a musician. Salako Music has been featured for So Far Sounds, countless community festivals and was a NPR’s Top Shelf pick for Tiny Desk.
First 20 seats are free with registration with limited seating available. $10 suggested donation, PWYC, no one turned away due to lack of funds. Walk-ins are welcome but priority will be given to registrants while others will be waitlisted. Registration link in our bio. ?
