Music Is The Answer: Thanksgiving Edition!

Come shake off those Thanksgiving calories with us at Monarch on Thursday November 28! For this month's special holiday edition, we are excited to be showcasing some of San Francisco’s hottest talents on both floors.

In the Lounge, we will be hosting the world famous Motown on Mondays crew as they bring their unique take on soul parties to the club. Featuring sounds by Don Gordo, DJ Lazyboy, & DJ Playstation, expect to be blown away by sexy beats and good vibes as you dance off that turkey and mashed potatoes dinner.

Don Gordo

• Also known as the iconic mastermind behind the internationally acclaimed Motown on Mondays movement; Donovan is arguably one of the worlds most successful nightlife curators with his international movement meant to keep the spirit of Soul, Disco & Funk eternally present in the global music scene. DJ Lazyboy

• Stylized as Jimmy Hendrix on the turntables! DJ Lazyboy is a world-renowned dj who has won major DJ titles with Red Bull, A-Trak’s  Goldies and many more. DJ Playstation 

• DJ PlayStation’s dedication to perfecting the craft of mixing and digging has quickly separated him from other DJ's. His sound is uniquely distinguished, as he pulls inspiration from many different genres but mainly focuses on the 80's decade of music. Needless to say, he is a master of reading the room and giving the crowd exactly what they need.

Downstairs in the rave cave, we will be showcasing some of the hottest San Francisco DJ’s who have been making big moves in the scene!  

Alkemiss Erika 

• Coming in hot off of a huge major release titled “Alchemista” on Tierra Sounds; Alkemiss Erika is a San Francisco-based DJ who curates a captivating blend of organic, melodic & progressive sounds. She has recently been making waves in the San Francisco music world with support bookings with HVOB, Volen Sentir & Nora en Pure and has cemented her position as an emerging force in the world of thoughtful electronic music production. D!SHA

• Hailing from Turkey, D!SHA is a San Francisco transplant who is focused on creating and playing music that showcases her unique life journey as a global artist. Sara Afshar

• Sara Afshar is a Tehran native whose signature sound is a groovy tapestry, weaving between hypnotic, playful & dark tones. Since coming to the United States, Sara has sought to turn her life experiences into a pulsating rhythm that creates harmony on the dance floor. (Instagram | Soundcloud)

BerryB

• BerryB has been making waves in the female electronic music world in Turkey since 2015 with a diverse range of musical styles that has made her popular amongst many different groups on a global scale.
