A free, live music event for Stonefields residents and friends! Music in the Wetlands, Sunday, 19 February 2023, from 3–7 pm. Bring a picnic, relax with friends and neighbours, dance or just listen and enjoy the vibe. We've got two great bands to entertain you on a summer afternoon and early evening with the backdrop of the Maungarei Springs Wetlands.
We'll start with The Madeleines - jazz and swing harmonies, beautiful costumes, and tight choreography. https://www.themadeleines.com. Then we launch into the London 4-piece Bang Bang performing songs by artists such as Amy Winehouse, Fleetwood Mac, Michael Jackson, Queen, James Brown, Prince, Tina Turner and many more.
