The Music in the Meetinghouse series at First Church Congregational in Fairfield proudly presents Justin Bischof, organist, in celebration of the 15th anniversary of the historic church's renowned Klais pipe organ. Bischof was the consultant on the design of the organ, and played the dedication recital at First Church in 2010.
The program includes Bischof's transcriptions of Albinoni's Adagio, Puccini's Nessun Dorma, Leon Boellman's Suite Gothique, and improvisations on original themes selected by the audience.
A reception will follow.
Tickets are $30 for adults; seniors $20; students $10; and children 18 and under are free.
