Join UAF Summer Sessions & Lifelong Learning for free concerts in the beautiful Georgeson Botanical Garden.
Drawing on experts in every discipline, the Fairbanks Summer Arts Festival brings together high-level musicians, chefs, dancers, actors, photographers, and artists of all types for two intense weeks in July. The resident contemporary music ensemble for the festival (Corvus) is led by two New-York-based performers with deep Alaskan roots: Andie Springer (violin) and Katie Cox (flute). Each year they enlist other accomplished performers to create a dynamic chamber ensemble which presents concerts in Fairbanks, as well as outreach events in rural communities of interior Alaska.
In accordance with UAF COVID-19 regulations, face coverings are required for those who are unvaccinated in all indoor areas and outdoors where you can’t maintain six feet of distance from other people. For more info, visit https://sites.google.com/alaska.edu/coronavirus/uaf
Parking is easiest in the Nenana lot (the dirt lots across from the SRC), where a free UAF shuttle will be running to and from the garden all evening, starting at 6pm! Masks are required by all during shuttle rides.
All attendees under 18y/o should be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
