Music in Parks kicks off the season with one of Auckland's top ‘big bands’, The Con Alma Big Band.With a repertoire from the 1940s, Con Alma (formerly known as the North Harbour Big Band) is all about a big sound full of swing. Dance your way into summer or sit back with a picnic as we celebrate popular music of the era at the Auckland Domain.
The incredible Goldsmith Baynes starts the session with jazz, swing – and everything! This act has inspired audiences at renowned festivals, including the Waiheke Jazz Festival and Tauranga International Jazz Festival.
