Music for Seniors Free Concert Series at KMA
Take a musical journey back to 1976 with a free afternoon concert at the Knoxville Museum of Art! Join us on Thursday, August 27, 2026, from 1:00–2:00 pm for 50 Years Ago – The Music of 1976, featuring musician Wendell Werner.
Presented in partnership with Music for Seniors, this interactive performance celebrates the unforgettable songs of 1976 while bringing people together through the joy of live music. Music for Seniors is a nonprofit organization dedicated to connecting area musicians with older adults through engaging performances that entertain, educate, reduce isolation, and promote health and well-being.
This concert is free and open to the public, and all are welcome to attend. Whether you're reliving favorite hits or discovering them for the first time, it's sure to be an afternoon of great music and community.
