Filmmaker, music producer, radio personality, and all-around creative force, Jaymz Bee, brings his passion for iconic spy soundtracks to life in an electrifying new concert experience: Music for Secret Agents. A lifelong aficionado of James Bond films and their unforgettable theme songs, Bee has assembled an all-star band and top-tier arrangers to reimagine music from Bond and beyond.

Joining him are some of Canada’s most captivating vocalists: Irene Torres, the Peruvian-born dynamo whose work with Battle of Santiago, and her acclaimed solo album Travesía have won her fans worldwide; Kyree Vibrant, a powerhouse whose fiery vocals and commanding stage presence electrify every performance; Serafin LaRiviere, a five-octave torch singer whose interpretations stop listeners in their tracks; Simone Denny, the Juno-winning dance music icon now thrilling audiences with spy-jazz showstoppers; John Finley, the legendary R&B and soul singer who remains a vital force after six decades; and Gavin Hope, the velvet-voiced Nylons alumnus whose bold, dramatic performances are truly unforgettable.The all-star band features some of the finest musicians in the country: Michael Shand (piano), a genre-spanning virtuoso and Oscar Peterson Scholarship recipient; Eric St-Laurent (guitar), an internationally experienced bandleader and founding member of Music for Secret Agents; George Koller (bass), a prolific composer and multi-instrumentalist who has played on over 100 albums; Ben Wittman (drums), an American-born, Toronto-based artist who has performed with legends from Paul Simon to Rosanne Cash; Alison Young (saxophone), whose soulful sound draws comparisons to Sonny Rollins and Cannonball Adderley; and Bill McBirnie (flute), personally chosen by Sir James Galway as his Jazz Flute Specialist and the only flutist to win all three of the US National Flute Association’s jazz awards.
