Tickets now on sale for this "Music For Passiontide" concert, on Good Friday 18 April, at 3pm in historic Christ Church South Yarra. Featuring a rare performance of the Vienna version of Pergolesi's much-loved Stabat Mater, as well as Passiontide excerpts from Handel's Messiah and music by Gibbons, Anerio, Victoria, J.S. Bach, W.A. Mozart and more. The combined forces of Star Chorale and Box Hill Chorale, accompanied by strings of the Royal Melbourne Philharmonic Orchestra, will be joined by William Schmidt (Chamber organ), and superb soloists: Stella Horvath (sop), Micahel Burden (alto) and Jack Jordan (ten), conducted by Andrew Wailes.
