Price: £95 for six 90-minute workshops
This course is for folk musicians who are interested in playing for dance. On this dynamic course you will learn a range of European dance tunes from Scotland, Cornwall, Guernsey, Brittany & Romania. The simple dances associated with them will give you a deeper understanding of the rhythms and traditions of the regions.
Sessions will be taught by ear by our two tutors. The course will culminate in a social dance on 20th October for tamily and friends, at which you will have the opportunity to display your newly acquired skills!
Level: intermediate-advanced. Please note, you will be learning by ear.
