This year Music By The Sea continue to present a diverse company of classical and jazz artists who will lavish their musical talents on audiences at the Victoria International Marina, in Victoria (the newest location) as well as in Bamfield at The Rix Centre for Ocean Discoveries (the original). Both extraordinary locations present the artists with the Pacific Ocean as the backdrop to the stage, combining the breathtaking view of an ocean sunset with an intimate setting of stirring world class performances of both classical and jazz chamber ensembles at all concerts.
Music By The Sea has a strong educational component with an annual mentorship program occurring in Bamfield each summer providing a life-changing opportunity for young musicians.
