Music At The Green: The Willow Trio

Join Sophie, Maya, and Romy as they return to Partickhill for a preview of their recently recorded second album, The Bestiary. In contrast with their debut work, The Swan of Salen, The Bestiary is filled with brand-new original compositions for harp trio, exploring everything from mysterious gardens to two particularly special housecats to the now extinct golden toad of Costa Rica.

The Willow Trio are an award-winning Glasgow-based clarsach trio, established in 2020. The trio plays music ranging from classical to traditional to their own original contemporary compositions. They have performed at festivals such as King's Lynn Festival, Dumfries and Galloway Arts Festival, and the Edinburgh International Fringe Festival and regularly tour small and rural venues throughout the UK. The Willow Trio will be supported by special guest and cellist, Rebekah Woodier.
