All are welcome. This is a free event with free, secured parking. Boston Avenue United Methodist Church Chapel Choir in Tulsa OK is an ensemble of over 30 middle and high school youth (6th-12th grades) that lead worship every week at the 9am liturgy. They are one of the only youth choirs in the region who are responsible for leading a weekly service, presenting a different anthem every week. They undertake a tour the first week of every June, and this year are delighted to be visiting Nashville and Memphis. Over past years, they have performed at venues throughout the United States, including the White House, the National Cathedral, the Cathedral of St. John the Divine, St. Patrick’s Cathedral, and the Mormon Tabernacle. Last year they performed concerts in Buffalo NY and Ontario, Canada. This year's program will feature a variety of works featuring composers from Handel to Rutter and Mark Miller and will include arrangements of several well-known hymn tunes and spirituals. Individuals from the choir will also perform a variety of solos showcasing styles from Baroque to Broadway and Jazz!
