Kurt Lamkin, a master of the Kora (West African Harp) creates beautiful and dreamlike sounds with his instrument. He also writes songs that tell stories that make you laugh, move AND think! Peter Kfoury, a virtuoso Oud (Near East/North African Lute) player, blends the exotic melodies and rhythms of that part of the world with his American influences of Jazz, Blues and Rock. Kurt and Peter will play both together and solo, so in this concert you will find music to move to, meditate to and just plain feel good to! Bonus: Hear the original song written by Kurt and Peter "Blues for Planet Earth" performed live! Free Admission. (donations welcome)
