Join me in my studio for the first Creative Weekend of 2026, which actually begins on a Thursday! For this performance I’m delighted to welcome the brilliant writer Adam Farrer, and the wonderfully talented musician Paolo Fuschi.
Adam has had two hugely popular books published ‘Cold Fish Soup’ and ‘Broken Biscuits’ which brilliantly discuss his life growing up in Withernsea on the east coast of England, and masculinity as he navigates the world. He has a beautiful voice and his readings are always inspiring and beautiful.
Paolo Fushi is originally from Sicily, but has made Manchester his home. He is a guitarist, singer, songwriter, and producer whose work stands at the intersection of soul, blues, and funk. His band Buffalo Brothers was championed by BBC 6 Music’s Craig Charles. He’s an electrifying performer, and so those attending our intimate gig at NQL HQ will be in for a treat.
As usual I will be projecting work from the Not Quite Light project and reading my own text. Small intimate gigs are the future! Just 18 places!
Also, on the Saturday there will be an open studio from 1-4pm and a photowalk in the evening, exploring Holt Town. On Sunday 8th there is another Smartphone workshop.
Just 18 places in the studio!
