Acclaimed vocal ensemble, Eklektika, bring their candlelit concert, Music & Peace to Canberra as part of a national tour to raise urgently-needed funds for Médecins Sans Frontières’ humanitarian work in Gaza.
The program includes sublime reimaginings of Bach, Purcell, Max Bruch & Arvo Part, George Harrison, Kate Bush, Radiohead & more, and new works by award-winning film & theatre composer, Dr Judy Stubbs, including a 'fusion mass’ that brings together Sufi & Gregorian chant with the words of Palestinian human rights award-winning poet, Mahmoud Darwish composed under an Australia Council Grant, and her new work, A Prayer (October 2023).
