Music & Makers - Haslingden Market
We’re back in Haslingden, bringing together a record fair, makers market, food & drink, and live music - plus something very special this year… a puppet rave.
This unique performance is energetic, immersive, and interactive, where people dance and rave with handmade puppets, blending electronic music with puppetry. It’s playful, creative and fun, and suitable for kids, young people, and adults alike.
We’ll also be hosting a puppet-making workshop ahead of the event, giving you the chance to create your own puppet to bring along to the rave. Tickets for this will be available soon.
Part of Gather@ Festival (June 26–28)
Music & Makers is now part of Gather@, a new multi-venue music and culture festival across the Rossendale Valley, presented by later@ in partnership with Horse + Bamboo Theatre.
Across three days, the festival connects towns through a curated programme of live music and creative activity. Audiences can move between venues, discovering independent artists, performances, and a mix of experiences for both locals and visitors. Across the wider weekend, Gather@ brings nationally respected artists into intimate local settings, alongside a handpicked lineup of rising talent. Confirmed artists so far include Dave McCabe (The Zutons), John Bramwell (I Am Kloot),18 year old country blues guitarist and singer Muireann Bradley, Dominie Hooper, Yaang, A. S. Fanning, Ellen Beth Abdi, The Folk Drama, Lily Rae Grant, Freequency 3, Punch-In, Marie Franc, Georgian, Coruja Jones, Concrete Club, K Estate, The Staags with more to be announced.
