About this Event
A performance offering poetry, music and intervals of silence evoking memories and contemplation in keeping with the time of remembrance.
The performance lasts around fifty minutes without an interval. Refreshments available afterwards.
All ticket income will go to the Friends of St Stephen’s fundraising for repairs to the church windows.

Victoria Field is a writer and poetry therapist who has been widely published. Her latest books include a poetry collection, A Speech of Birds and a memoir of pilgrimage and marriage, Baggage: A Book of Leavings. Her doctoral research at CCCU concerned narratives of transformation in pilgrimage. Eduard Heyning has degrees in music, theology and medieval history. He composes, and plays clarinets and saxophones. They have walked the Via Francigena from Canterbury over the Alps to Rome.
Their previous collaborations include Kissing The Earth, performed in St Peters,Canterbury in October 2023 as part of the Creative Pilgrims event, O RomaNobilis, performed in five churches along the Via Francigena in the Kent Pilgrims Festival in September 2022.
