The class will focus on the preparation of a rodent study skin - the most common way that species reference specimens are preserved for future use. Learn the basics of taxidermy, museum preparation of a study skin mount, and the basics of taxonomy and naming of species. Each participant will prepare their own mount that is theirs to keep. All materials needed for the class will be included in the class registration fee of $150 + credit card processing fee . Class participants must be over 18 years of age. Class size is limited to 12.
