Join us for a FREE visit and tour to learn about the Musica Sin Fronteras and see the new interactive DIGIE at the El Paso History Museum. We will visit a couple more feature the museum has to offer for those interested. When we are finished, we will head to lunch in the downtown area. This will be decided at the time, with those from the group who wish to attend. If you wish to pre-reregister, then we will know who to look for. See link below
"Musica Sin Fronteras: Twentieth Century to Now" showcases the dynamic and diverse musicians, bands, genres, studios, and venues, that have called the frontera home for the greater 20th century.
This exhibition acknowledges and celebrates the contributions that the Frontera has brought nationally and internationally for residents and visitors alike.
DIGIE is The Digital Information Gateway in El Paso. DIGIE is an interactive Digital Wall and community archive that was created as part of the 2012 Quality of Life Bond Program. Displayed across five touch-sensitive screens that total 35 feet in length, it is currently the only digital wall of its kind in the United States and one of four in the world!
