Join El Museo del Barrio as we turn a stretch of Museum Mile into a vibrant Puerto Rican block party inspired by our exhibitions. Rooted in art, salsa, dance, and everyday Nuyorican life, this outdoor celebration invites the community to move, create, and janguear, honoring the street as a powerful space for culture, visibility, and collective joy.

With live music presented in collaboration with the Carnegie Hall Citywide Concert Series, DJs, dance activations, free guided museum tours, and hands-on art-making for all ages, El Museo del Barrio brings the rhythm and creativity of the barrio to Fifth Avenue, celebrating Puerto Rican and Latine culture as essential to New York City’s identity.
