MUSED by Eve presents NOSTALGIA: An Afro-Cinema Affair, it’s an immersive cultural experience exploring the legacy and influence of West African cinema from the 1970s through the 2010s.
Through film, fashion, art, music, conversation, and immersive installations, NOSTALGIA looks at the ways cinema has shaped how we understand identity, memory, migration, romance, womanhood, liberation, family, spirituality, and the African diaspora.
Guests will experience a curated evening featuring:
* Short film screenings and filmmaker conversations (VIP GUEST ONLY)
* A fashion exhibition featuring emerging designers
* Artist showcases and visual storytelling
* Food, drinks, and community (VIP GUEST only will receive food)
* Opportunities to discover and connect with emerging African and diasporic creatives
NOSTALGIA is designed to feel like more than an exhibition or screening. It is a space to explore learn, reflect, connect, celebrate, and rediscover the stories that continue to shape us.
