Friday, August 28, 7 - 10 PM
$50 per guest
** Includes a three-course dinner (menu TBA)
Join us for an evening of good food, mysterious clues, shady suspects... and one very inconvenient murder.
In Murderous Decisions at the Manor, each guest takes on a character and becomes part of the mystery. You’ll question other guests, follow the clues, make decisions about the investigation, and ultimately try to figure out who committed the murder, all before the night is over.
Gift certificates will be awarded based on attire and character performance, voted on by those who attend!
** Please choose your character when you RSVP! **
Characters are first come, first served and should be chosen at the time of reservation.
Costumes are encouraged, but they don't have to be fancy. Even a few simple pieces can make the character work! This isn't Broadway. 😛
AVAILABLE CHARACTERS:
"Em Fatale"
Lord Heathcliff’s glamorous young widow.
Look: Elegant dress, red lips, jewelry, lots of confidence.
"Mrs. Withering"
The manor’s stubborn housekeeper.
Look: Old-fashioned dark dress, humble styling, antique jewelry.
"Misty Visions"
A free-spirited fortune teller.
Look: Flowing fabrics, scarves, bangles, flashy jewelry.
"Blanche Batters"
The manor cook, with a spicy personality to match.
Look: Apron, rolled sleeves, general kitchen attire.
"Cinders"
The put-upon maid of the manor.
Look: Classic black-and-white maid attire.
"Dee Minor"
A celebrated concert violinist with an unconventional streak.
Look: Cocktail attire with artistic or musical touches.
"Sierra Tango"
The village’s only police constable.
Look: White blouse, dark skirt or trousers, police-inspired accessories.
"Annette Hititova"
Lord Heathcliff’s tennis coach.
Look: Tennis gear, athletic wear, general sporty attire.
"Ginger Schnapp"
Lord Heathcliff’s sister-in-law and wedding photographer.
Look: Cocktail attire, with a camera at the ready.
"Butler"
The impeccably dressed butler of Heathcliff Manor.
Look: Dark suit, white gloves, polished & formal.
"Inspector Denaux"
A French private detective whose methods may leave... something to be desired.
Look: Trench coat, trilby, moustache, magnifying glass.
"Professor Peacock"
An eccentric academic and scientist.
Look: Tweed, glasses, elbow patches, books, and scholarly accessories.
"Reverend Will Beedone"
The mild-mannered local vicar.
Look: Clerical black, cardigan, conservative dress.
"Doctor Fumbles"
The village doctor.
Look: White coat, stethoscope, medical accessories.
"General Custard"
A former Army general, turned security specialist.
Look: Military-inspired attire, medals, walking stick or cane.
"Ford Escort"
Lord Heathcliff’s chauffeur, with a taste for speed.
Look: Grey or dark suit, chauffeur cap, driving gloves, aviator glasses.
"Buck Shott"
The Scottish gamekeeper.
Look: Tweed, flat cap, country clothing. Kilt optional. 😛
"Ned Sadler"
The kind-hearted stable boy.
Look: Shirt with rolled sleeves, waistcoat, cap, rustic attire.

"Lady Gardiner & Lord Gardiner"
Lady Gardiner is an eccentric landscape gardener.
Look: Garden party attire, flowers, gloves, hat, etc.
Lord Gardiner is her husband, a life peer and longtime friend of Lord Heathcliff.
Look: Formal dinner attire, aristocratic touches.
