A handpicked group of people are invited to the home of an elusive Hollywood Producer—but why them, and to what end?
Starlet Gloria Swanson, aging actor Beau Weaver, scriptwriter Max Moseley, and private detective Darcy Meltoya, who specializes in murder investigations, are all present. Also in attendance are 1st Assistant Xem and 2nd Assistant Mary MacDonnell. But where is Isadore Schary, and why has he invited them tonight?
