Murals & Margs: Deep Ellum First Friday Mural Tours

Our Murals & Margs tour will transport you to an enchanted journey under the stars, through the vibrant street art and legendary tales of our historic neighborhood.

YOUR HOSTS: Dallas’ most buzzed-about local artists, including Frank Campagna, founder of Kettle Art Gallery and the Godfather of Dallas Street Art. Frank has been a fixture on the Dallas art and music scenes for over forty years, having led countless public mural projects, opening one of Deep Ellum's first music clubs, Studio D, during the neighborhood's 1980s heyday, painting live for bands such as the Rolling Stones and Pink Floyd, and creating marquee paintings of touring musicians on the side of the world-renowned Gypsy Tea Room. Frank's behind-the-scenes, insider stories of the unique evolution of the neighborhood will delight and amaze you.

LOCATION & DETAILS: Tour guests will meet at 6:00pm at Kettle Art Gallery. From there, our route will wind through many of the most outstanding and recognizable mural highlights. Tour duration is approximately 1.5 hours.

TICKETS INCLUDE: a guided tour; a swag bag with a "Deep Ellum is for Lovers" t-shirt designed by Frank Campagna; a collectible, limited edition glass designed by an amazing local artist (courtesy of the Deep Ellum Wine Walk); and rooftop margaritas with a view of the city, voted Best International Skyline by USA Today.
