Join us for Round 2! In April during 'Mural Ride #1!' we spotted 16 murals on a casual ride through town. Our local artists (and volunteers!) have been hard at work since then, so we thought we'd take another Mural-Tour through town!
The route features the brand new Patsy Cline Welcome Mural on Winchester's West gateway, plus a few of the better known stand-out murals around town. We've also added SU to the route, and folded in a few lesser-known murals that we didn't get to last time. We'll end with a ride around the brand new Traffic Garden at VACDES, Winchester's largest example of interactive Art.
The ride starts at 10:30AM from Hideaway Cafe. Feel free to meet up early for a coffee or snack before we go! We also have a midway water/coffee break at Hopscotch, and we'll end at Big L's Bagels.
As always, this ride is casual and social in nature. Don't expect to get much exercise, but DO expect to have lots of fun and meet awesome people!
UPDATE: We modified the route to be shorter and more accommodating. There are 2 fairly significant hills around SU that some may feel more comfortable walking. Please keep in mind that while these rides are inclusive and ridden at a social pace, you and members of your family must be able to ride reasonably confidently on the street in traffic.
