Oh our gosh! If there was ever any question as to whether we have the right artists on board for Ray's Way Mural, there is no more! Here's the mural! Knox Farm is the back drop. The black and white portion represents horses and their history here, while the rest is about horses in the area now.
East Aurora has a rich history with horses, particularly in the late 19th and early 20th centuries, due to the success of Cicero Hamlin's Village Farm . At one time East Aurora was the trotting horse capital of the world!
There will be a Mural Dedication on Monday August 11th., @ 6:30. Details will follow about the mural and dedication.
You are welcome to watch as the mural progresses. Tracing begins on Saturday and painting on Sunday, 3rd.
