RCAF, Washington Neighborhood Center (WNC), and CSUS Library Gallery are sponsoring "Mural Artivism: Esteban Villa’s Emergence of the Chicano Social Struggle in a Bi-Cultural Society," a free symposium at the WNC. The gathering will bring together artists, art historians, and educators to celebrate the artistic impact and historical significance of Sacramento's oldest Chicano mural painted in 1969-1970 by Esteban Villa, a co-founder of the Royal Chicano Air Force/RCAF.
