It can be tough (re)adjusting to life as a Mum so we are really excited to be welcoming Brighton City Girl Network award winner Monica Zammit (aka Zumba with Mon ) to The Dance Space, with her Mumma’s Got Moves: Baby Sling Dance.Starting on Tuesday 21st April.

Monica invites you to meet other mums, have a dance and feel human again.This class is about rebuilding confidence, boosting your mood, reducing isolation, and creating space to bond with your baby. No dance experience needed. No pressure. Just good music, good energy, and a supportive space where you can feel like yourself again.

Monica is the proud recipient of the Brighton Girl of the Year 2026, which recognises individuals making a significant impact in the local community, acknowledging her work creating fiercely inclusive, welcoming dance spaces where women can feel safe, be themselves and experience a real sense of belonging.
