As the founder of Lawrence Community Gardens, Sharrona Moore spent years developing agricultural skills in young people and growing fresh produce on Indianapolis' far east side. When LCG was evicted from their land, the program was moved to Octavia's Visionary Campus where it became the Next Gen Growers program. Now Sharrona lives and works in Arizona, where she is building a 100 acre farm, ranch, and nature retreat called Nitty Gritty Acres.
