These classes offer all new mums an opportunity to move, breathe and relax with some gentle yoga practices to help recover post-birth. Yoga will help to strengthen and support your post-partum body, breathing practices to help calm and soothe your mind and guided relaxation to support your sleep and restore your vitality, all with your baby by your side.
You can expect babies to feed, sleep, be changed, cry, or be cuddled; all whilst we practice in a warm, friendly, and supportive environment.
Sessions may vary to suit the needs or mood of the group at any moment – but our focus is on mums exercising mindfully with some opportunity to integrate movements and massage for babies.
Suitable from 6 weeks post vaginal delivery or 8 to 12 weeks post caesarean. Ideally, after a caesarean please check with your midwife or doctor.
Classes are booked in a block of 5 weeks in advance and are subject to viable numbers. Please bring your own yoga mat, a cushion and blanket for relaxation, and a bottle of water.
