Mum and Me (A Mum Making Workshop)

It’s HOCO season, baby! And as we do in Texas, everything is bigger and better, especially our mums. The ribbons, the bells, the giant teddy bear that somehow got attached to a corsage: (hint, it’s just a crap-ton of staples). Homecoming mums are a whole mood, and we’ve cooked up the perfect workshop for you! We’re bringing the tradition back to its roots, with our creative reuse twist!
Bring your mum (or your dad, your auntie, your ride-or-die) and spend the afternoon crafting the homecoming mum of your dreams. We’ve got ribbon, reuse trinkets, fabric scraps, and all the bells and baubles you need to make something that screams “look at my giant ass mum!”
Our mum-making master, Manda, has all the tricks (aka staples) to help you craft the mum of your dreams. Whether you’re in high school preparing for the big day, or a parent who remembers the glory days and wants to help your kiddo shine, this workshop is for you!
The party starts Saturday, Sep 5, 1-4 PM. $30 gets you all the supplies you need for this mum-making extravaganza. Oh yeah, and the best part: 100% of your ticket purchases go right back into helping us support teachers, so you’re not just winning homecoming, you’re winning at life!
