A mix of gentle movement, breathwork, emotional check-ins and group energy healing - this is your alternative health answer to baby groups.
This queer-inclusive group is accessible to parents who can sit on a chair, or move slowly on the floor. This class is all about fostering a supportive community and promoting overall well-being for parents of babies from 6 weeks to near crawling. As such, the booking is in four week blocks to build familiar face consistency. It's the same price for twins. Ella will be bringing along her own baby to enjoy this gorgeous, nurturing community. The price is for a four week block, 90 minute sessions.

Class Structure:

Accessibility:
Location - access for wheelchairs and power-chairs is found on the first floor of the arndale centre car park to the right of the car entrance. Ella can double check the measurements of your chair if you drop her an email. The room has no steps to access from this level however access to the toilets has three steps. There are baby changing facilities in the room. Access from the road is by lift located on the outside of the building next to sainsbury's, follow the car park all the way around, past the sloped car entrance, there will an ajar fire door ther with a poster on it for the class.
Physical limitations - the class will involve some floor based stretching and controlled relaxing breathing. The movement can be done from your knees or a chair. If you have specific limitations please contact Ella to discuss how she can modify the practice: [email protected].
Visual accessibility - the space will be well lit throughout and there will be no adjustment to the lighting if you have a visual limitation affected by low lighting, please inform Ella so she doesn't darken the room for the final relaxation.
Sound - there are no induction loops in the venue. There is no echo, and background music will only be played when there is no dialogue.
Mental health - Ella is trauma aware, however not mental health first aid trained. She has a wealth of personal experience dealing with mental health crises, however no qualifications to deal with complex mental health. If you have a specific trigger that is relevant to the class and can be avoided please speak to Ella via email before.
