(Mike told me to just make stuff about him for this, but I promise I’ve only written the truth)
Mulva Mike from Mulva was born in the Galapagos Islands, at an impressive 7’ tall. It was a dark and stormy night, around 8:15 in the morning, on June 12th, 1947, at around 8:15 in the evening. As a child, he was a child, but skipping all that bullshit, he eventually became an adult, which is where we are today. Now, Mike runs a failing newspaper company, but promises that print media will be “making its comeback very soon”. He also makes whiny bitch boy music, which is what you’ll hear at this show. This is not a full band Mulva show; that would actually be entertaining. This show is just going to be Mike. Mike doesn’t even like the music that he plays. He secretly wants to make Ska music, but is too afraid to ask his fellow bandmates to change genres. He told me that in confidence at dinner. Mike LOVES Ska, so in between songs, make sure to chant “PLEASE PLAY SKA” so he knows to PICK IT UP, PICK IT UP, PICK IT UP!!! After the show, you can find him in the back alley playing with his toys, ‘cause he’s a nerd. Anyway, he really hopes you come to this show to see him play, otherwise his mom is going to kick him out of her basement, and HE CAN’T GO BACK TO LIVIN’ ON THE STREETS MAN!!!

Cathouse Dandies:
Cathouse Dandies was born from the Open Stage at the North Street Cabaret when host Michael Hollywood (Harmonica, Vocals) and regular performer Mike Semmerling (Guitar, Bass, Vocals) decided to collaborate and see how things went. They went quite well and Lex Dahl (Bass, Guitar, Vocals) joined the group a few months later.
The fusion of their musical sensibilities created a fresh and unique sound that’s been delighting audiences around Madison. Their palette ranges between sweetly melancholy Folk and brash driving Punk with hints of Garage Rock and Power Pop.
Hollywood’s harmonica glides deftly above the melodic guitar and bright engaging vocals of Semmerling and Dahl’s dexterous driving bass lines. Other songs feature Dahl’s hauntingly dissonant Baritone in counterpoint to Semmerling bringing an edgier guitar sound and Hollywood going “full Coltrane” on harp.
Clever, fun, and infinitely tuneful, Cathouse Dandies are not to be missed!

Bellends:
Bellends formed in the studio around a project that evolved into the record "A Feast for the Crows" Now making waves with their unique mix of heady driving rhythms, soaring guitar solos, and lyrics that cut straight to the heart. Their songs tell the stories of love, loss, and the struggles of everyday life with the passion and intensity that could only come from the streets and dives of Milwaukee. When they take the stage, the band delivers their catchy hook driven songs with that same train driving intensity. Beginning to end their performances are moving as they are powerful.

Punk Rock Saves Lives:
Punk Rock Saves Lives (PRSL) isn’t just a name — it’s what we do. We’re a 501(c)(3) nonprofit built from the DIY spirit of the music we love. We show up where the noise is loudest — concerts, festivals, tours — and turn that energy into action.
We’re here to help make change right now. Our mission is simple but fierce:
We swab cheeks and save lives — signing people up for the bone marrow registry to fight blood cancers and disorders. Every swab could be a match. Every match could be the one.
We break down barriers to self-care — handing out harm reduction supplies like naloxone (Narcan), test strips, earplugs, and emergency contraception because everyone deserves a chance to make it to the next show.
We fight the stigma around mental health — sharing resources, creating safe spaces at events, and reminding you: you are not alone.
