The Cosmic Shruti Box

The Cosmic Shruti Box brings together Emma Stout (Voice, Sound Healing), Alec Cooper (Sitar and co-Director of theSitarProject), Andy Cooke (Endongo), and Sodhi Deerhe (Tabla) and brings together a unique combination of Indian and African approaches to melody and rhythm overlaid by spiritual forms of singing.

Adonye B

Three of his singles have been played on BBC Radio 6 Introducing and BBC Radio Scotland. In one of these singles (New Life), Adonye B uses his experience as a medical doctor to tell a beautiful story about organ donation.

jayda

An Alternative Scottish Hip-Hop Artist based in Edinburgh/Glasgow. While still at the beginning of their career, they joined Hen Hoose in it's project Equaliser, and managed to release a wonderfully spurring and urgent song 'Revolution Retribution' in collaboration with AMUNDA. jayda’s production style is eclectic and their writing style; honest. Their live performances are full of emotion and energy.

Billy Got Waves

Given his name from the late Virgil Abloh, Edinburgh based Billy Got Waves, like his great great grandfather Bert Marshall, an innovator in early Jazz alongside Django Reinhardt, Billy is also innovating sounds in his own way. Merging genres and catchy hooks layered with witty lyricism and futuristic production, he has created his own world, which he sits comfortably in. With his previous releases from 2018-2020 reaching over 1 million plays on Spotify alone, winning the IMA Award for Best Scottish album and performing alongside the likes of Che Lingo, Kojey radical, 808INK , Shingai, Gaika, A$AP Nast and Ramriddlz, Billy has since taken time out during the lockdown to redefine and hone his sound, gearing up for the release of his new album Rocket Boy.

Brownbear

Hailing from Ayrshire, in just a few years Brownbear have taken themselves from a band tipped to do big things to selling out headline shows.

The release of their debut single ‘Dead or Alive’ in 2014 saw the band gain radio play on Radio 1, Radio 2, Radio Scotland and playlisted on Radio X. They were then invited to to support the Libertines at the Barrowlands reunion show before joining them at Alexandra Palace in London, Hyde Park BST & several European dates of the reunion tour. They also enjoyed a great festival run that year including T in the Park (BBC Introducing) , Blue Balls (Switzerland) & Belladrum (Main Stage) before heading into the studio to start work on their debut album ‘What is Home?’.

In the last few years the band has shared the stage with the likes of The Libertines, The View, Reverend & The Makers & Michael Kiwanuka.

brownbear’s self released debut album ‘What is Home?’ was well received particularly amongst their growing fanbase leading to a headline tour that ended with a sold out show at the infamous King Tuts Wah Wah Hut in Glasgow.

With their debut album and a string of sold out headline shows already under their belt, brownbear are getting ready to hit the live circuit again with brand new material.

Los Chichanos

The band behind Edinburgh's late night fiestas! Raucous Latin rhythms, cumbia and salsa, surf-inspired guitar and wild tropical vibes from the Andes & the Amazon. Psychedelic Jungle Cumbia played live to make bodies move and minds soothe.
