𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗣𝗘𝗥𝗙𝗢𝗥𝗠𝗔𝗡𝗖𝗘𝗦
𝗔𝗻𝗼𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿 𝗗𝗲𝗲𝗽: 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗸 𝗜𝗝𝘇𝗲𝗿𝗺𝗮𝗻 & 𝗦é𝗯𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗲𝗻 𝗥𝗼𝗯𝗲𝗿𝘁
Another Deep explores the impending deep-sea mining in the Svalbard region (Norway) and its inherent implications for our environment, geopolitics, and indigenous ecosystems. The project began during the Arctic Circle Residency programme, where Sébastien Robert and Mark IJzerman collected a range of audio and visual material. Using audiovisual composition, it seeks to translate an ambiguous, uncertain future into a tangible, unsettling present.
𝗦é𝗯𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗲𝗻 𝗥𝗼𝗯𝗲𝗿𝘁 is an interdisciplinary artist and researcher who develops a practice at the intersection of visual and sound art, technology, science, and ethnography. Through his work, Sébastien aims to create an engaging and evolving artistic dialogue between non-Western perspectives and new technology, challenging our understanding of the environment.
𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗸 𝗜𝗝𝘇𝗲𝗿𝗺𝗮𝗻 is an interdisciplinary artist exploring planetary processes such as eroding biodiversity and warming waters from more-than-human perspectives. Working at the intersection of ecology and media art, IJzerman uses digital technologies to create processes that foster intimacy between us and the other-than-human.

𝗗𝗶𝗴𝗶𝘁𝗮𝗹 𝗦𝗸𝗶𝗲𝘀: 𝗦𝗼𝗻𝗶𝗮 𝗞𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗺𝗮𝗻𝗻
The more we attempt to imitate the beauty of a night sky through artificial light, the more we deprive ourselves of the chance of ever seeing a truly natural star-lit sky. Rather than creating an aggressive atmosphere, Sonia Killmann’s Digital Skies offers a meditation on what current city planning might do to the environment and our mental health. While the visuals oscillate between distorted relatives and harshly lit scenes, the soundscape is created through live saxophone, voice, and synthesised sounds that form a more organic and immersive atmosphere.
𝗦𝗼𝗻𝗶𝗮 𝗞𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗺𝗮𝗻𝗻 is a saxophonist, electronic musician, and audiovisual artist, whose practice is deeply influenced by interdisciplinary work and collaborative processes. As a Cryptic Artist, they work primarily as an electronic and multimedia composer, striving to create immersive experiences for audiences.

𝗡𝗲𝘄 𝗛𝗼𝗺𝗲𝗼𝘀𝘁𝗮𝘀𝗶𝘀: 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗘𝗽𝗵𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗹 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗘𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗮𝗹: 𝗦𝗮𝗵𝗮𝗿 𝗛𝗼𝗺𝗮𝗺𝗶
A poetic and philosophical exploration of the human experience in the digital age, this project is designed as a thought-provoking experience that encourages audiences to reflect on their relationship with technology and nature. Its title alludes to the fragility of human spiritual energy and the impermanence of material civilisation.
𝗦𝗮𝗵𝗮𝗿 𝗛𝗼𝗺𝗮𝗺𝗶 is an audiovisual composer, calligrapher, and researcher from Tehran currently based in Berlin and Montreal. Their work blends art, technology, philosophy, and mysticism to develop innovative ways of understanding the human condition through storytelling and real-time generative art.

𝗣𝗶𝘁𝗰𝗵 𝗕𝗹𝗲𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿: 𝗭𝗼ë 𝗠𝗰 𝗣𝗵𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗼𝗻 & 𝗔𝗹𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗿𝗮 𝗟𝗲𝗼𝗻𝗲
Based on Zoë Mc Pherson’s third album, Pitch Blender is a dynamic set of cybernetic dancefloor experiments that flicker between the rave and the art space. The A/V show is enhanced by the captivating imagery of Alessandra Leone, delivering a breathless live reinterpretation of the album that is bound to stimulate and challenge all the senses.
Described as a “vanguard” by British publication Mixmag and “fearless” by Hyponik, Berlin-based 𝗭𝗼ë 𝗠𝗰 𝗣𝗵𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗼𝗻 is a Franco-Irish multimedia artist whose practice spans performance, sound design, installation art, and DJing. Additionally, Mc Pherson runs the SFX label and an interdisciplinary initiative with their long-time collaborator Alessandra Leone.
𝗔𝗹𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗿𝗮 𝗟𝗲𝗼𝗻𝗲 is an Italian-born, Berlin-based motion designer, editor, and director who has spent her career crafting moving image experiences for screen and stage, honing her skills through a savvy mix of commercial projects and avant-garde multimedia art.

Another Deep se penche sur l’exploitation minière imminente dans les eaux profondes de la région de Svalbard (Norvège) et ses conséquences sur notre environnement, la situation géopolitique et les écosystèmes indigènes. Le projet a débuté lors du programme de résidence Arctic Circle durant lequel Sébastien Robert et Mark IJzerman ont collecté des documents visuels et sonores. À l’aide de compositions audiovisuelles, Another Deep cherche à traduire un avenir ambigu et incertain en un présent concret et troublant.
𝗦é𝗯𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗲𝗻 𝗥𝗼𝗯𝗲𝗿𝘁 est un artiste et chercheur interdisciplinaire qui développe une pratique au croisement de l’art visuel et sonore, de la technologie, de la science et de l’ethnographie. À travers son travail et ses recherches, il cherche des possibilités de créer un dialogue artistique engagé et toujours plus large entre les perspectives non occidentales et les nouvelles technologies tout en questionnant notre perception de notre environnement.
𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗸 𝗜𝗝𝘇𝗲𝗿𝗺𝗮𝗻 est un artiste interdisciplinaire qui explore les processus planétaires tels que la diminution de la biodiversité et le réchauffement des eaux à partir de perspectives supra-humaines. Travaillant là où l’écologie et l’art médiatique se rencontrent, IJzerman utilise les technologies numériques pour créer des processus qui ouvrent à une forme d’intimité entre nous et le non humain.

𝗗𝗶𝗴𝗶𝘁𝗮𝗹 𝗦𝗸𝗶𝗲𝘀: 𝗦𝗼𝗻𝗶𝗮 𝗞𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗺𝗮𝗻𝗻
Plus nous essayons d’imiter la beauté d’un ciel nocturne au travers de la lumière artificielle, plus nous nous privons de la chance de voir un jour un ciel véritablement éclairé par la lumière des étoiles. Avec Digital Skies, Sonia Killmann évite les agressions lumineuses pour offrir une méditation sur les impacts potentiels de l’urbanisme contemporain sur l’environnement et notre santé mentale. Les visuels circulent entre des images déformées de parents et connaissances et des scènes à l’éclairage éblouissant. En direct, saxophone, voix et sons synthétisés construisent un paysage sonore à l’atmosphère organique et immersive.
𝗦𝗼𝗻𝗶𝗮 𝗞𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗺𝗮𝗻𝗻 est une saxophoniste, musicienne électronique et artiste audiovisuelle. Sa pratique est profondément influencée par le travail interdisciplinaire et les processus collaboratifs. Membre de l’agence artistique écossaise Cryptic, iel se concentre principalement sur la composition électronique et multimédia et la création d’expériences immersives pour le public.

Exploration poétique et philosophique de l’expérience humaine à l’ère numérique, le projet a été conçu comme une expérience invitant le public à réfléchir à sa relation avec la technologie et la nature. Son titre évoque la fragilité de l’énergie spirituelle humaine et l’impermanence de la civilisation matérielle.
𝗦𝗮𝗵𝗮𝗿 𝗛𝗼𝗺𝗮𝗺𝗶 est une compositrice audiovisuelle, calligraphe et chercheuse originaire de Téhéran, actuellement basée à Berlin et à Montréal. Son travail mêle art, technologie, philosophie et mysticisme pour développer des moyens innovants de comprendre la condition humaine à travers la narration et l’art génératif en temps réel.

Basé sur le troisième album de Zoë Mc Pherson, Pitch Blender est un set composé d’expériences cybernétiques taillées pour le dancefloor qui oscillent entre la rave et l’espace artistique. La création audiovisuelle est renforcée par l’imagerie fascinante créée par Alessandra Leone. Le résultat est une réinterprétation live de l’album à couper le souffle et défiant tous les sens.
Décrite comme étant à l’avant-garde par la publication britannique Mixmag et « sans peur » par le site Hyponik, 𝗭𝗼ë 𝗠𝗰 𝗣𝗵𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗼𝗻 est une artiste multimédia franco-irlandaise basée à Berlin dont la pratique absorbe des éléments de performance, de conception sonore, d’art d’installation et de DJing. En outre, Mc Pherson dirige le label SFX ainsi qu’un complot interdisciplinaire avec sa collaboratrice de longue date Alessandra Leone.
𝗔𝗹𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗿𝗮 𝗟𝗲𝗼𝗻𝗲 est une motion designer et réalisatrice d’origine italienne basée à Berlin. Elle crée des expériences d’images animées pour l’écran et la scène, affinant ses compétences grâce à un savant mélange de projets commerciaux et d’art multimédia d’avant-garde.
