Celebrate cultures from around the world during a special Multicultural Week edition of Parsons Thursday Nights Out! Spend the evening exploring hands-on art activities, live music and creative experiences inspired by traditions from across the globe.
Multicultural Art in the Alley
Enjoy traditional Chinese instrumental music by Magic Eastern Music Studio while you get creative with multicultural art activities throughout Parsons Alley.
Guests can:
Create a rainstick inspired by the traditions of Chile.
Design and decorate a fan with influences from China and Japan.
Make a colorful tissue paper flower inspired by Mexican paper-flower traditions and add it to our growing Community Flower Wall.
Stop by anytime between 6 and 9 p.m., get creative and celebrate the beauty of culture and community during Multicultural Week!
Multicultural Creativity Workshops
Keep the celebration going on Sunday, August 30 with hands-on Multicultural Creativity Workshops at the Duluth Festival Center. Registration is required.
