Multicultural Storytelling is a powerful tool that can be used to build bridges, healwounds, and grow communities while promoting empathy and understanding. It’s also a
conduit for preserving heritage and culture. Stories can pass on a piece of history and
the inherited lessons from ancestors.
The use of stories to explore and celebrate diverse cultural groups enhances
educational experiences that promote a society that values and understands its
collective heritage as it safeguards customs and teachings. We start by creating an
inclusive environment that connects students of diverse backgrounds and creates an
environment where everyone feels safe, seen, and heard.
Attendees are asked to bring a recommended reading list, a personal story, and the
spirit of adventure.
