An outstanding addition to this year’s event is a folk-dance show presented by Vadrózsa Folk Dance Group from Budapest Hungary. Vadrózsa (’Wild Rose’) will take part in a five-city tour of the East Coast of the U.S. in the fall of 2024. The highlight of the performance series is the commemoration which pays tribute to the memory of the revolution and freedom struggle of October 23 1956.
Vadrózsa’s performance with 40 dancers and 5 musicians will treat the audience to a spectacular and captivating authentic dance performance based on the rich folk dance and folk music tradition of the Carpathian Basin.
